Connectors

Connect your identity providers, cloud platforms, and SaaS apps so ComplianceScout can evaluate them.

Getting started

Connectors are integrations that pull identity, access, device, and secret data from your platforms (sources) or push findings out to tools like Jira (destinations). Everything ComplianceScout scores depends on at least one source connector being configured and synced. Secrets are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never logged.

How to use it

  1. Open Connectors from the sidebar. The page lists every configured integration with its status and last sync time.

  2. Click Add connector (or open /connectors?modal=add) and choose the platform you want to connect.

  3. Fill in the credential fields the form requests. Each connector's exact fields and where to find them are documented in the per-connector setup guides under Docs.

  4. Use Test to validate the credentials, then save. ComplianceScout kicks off an initial sync and shows progress.

  5. Once the sync finishes, the connector's data flows into Directory, Frameworks, Security Events, and the rest of the product.

Tips

  • Browse the full setup guide for any platform at /docs — each lists the required credentials and step-by-step instructions.
  • Re-running a sync is safe; connectors are designed to reconcile rather than duplicate.
