IP Allowlist

Restrict ComplianceScout access to specific IP ranges (CIDR blocks).

Settings & administration

IP Allowlist restricts access to ComplianceScout to specific IPv4 ranges. Once any range is active, all other IPs are blocked. The page shows your current IP and warns you to confirm it falls inside an active range before enabling, to avoid locking yourself out.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings → IP Allowlist.

  2. Note your current IP shown at the top.

  3. (Admin) Add a range by entering a CIDR (for example, 10.0.0.0/8 or 203.0.113.42/32) and a label.

  4. Toggle each range Active or Disabled.

  5. Confirm your own IP is covered by an active range before relying on the allowlist.

Tips

  • A bare IP is treated as a /32 host.
  • A warning banner appears whenever active ranges exist, to reduce self-lockout risk.
