Multi-factor authentication

Enroll and manage your own MFA factors — authenticator app, passkeys, and email OTP.

Identity & access

The MFA settings page is where you enroll and manage your personal multi-factor factors. It has independent sections for an authenticator app (TOTP), passkeys, and email one-time passwords. Sensitive changes use cross-factor verification — any enrolled method can authorize them.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings → MFA.

  2. In the Authenticator app (TOTP) section, enter your password and click Set up authenticator.

  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or copy the secret), then enter the 6-digit code to confirm.

  4. Save the backup codes shown once, then confirm you've stored them.

  5. Optionally enroll a passkey or email OTP in their own sections; to disable TOTP or regenerate backup codes, verify with any factor you already have.

Tips

  • Because changes accept any enrolled factor, you won't get locked out if you lose one method but still have another.
